Because transgressors have forcefully and psychologically taken power, it is now exceedingly easy for them to remain in power. The Art of War by Sun Tzu, Niccolò Machiavelli’s The Prince, The Green Book by Muammar Al Gaddafi and The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon teach us about the mechanisms used and their consequences. We do not read anymore and allow the tainted media to educate us. Rape is almost normal in Africa, India, the Caribbean and in most other countries particularly if we include incest-another silenced evil.
To free ourselves we need total independence. This is being strangled in T&T by the increasing trend of retrenchments, contract terminations and job losses for any other reason. “A country’s most vital resource is its human resource” and “Labour is the ONLY purveyor of wealth,” remain as two silenced proverbs because they directly conflict with the modus operandi of the transgressors. Capitalism fosters the protracted greed of individuals and we attempt to perform academic gymnastics to buttress its vile, constricting and toxic principles. Kwame Ture, Lloyd Best, David Muhammad and our calypsonians have led the way, as you are doing, and our overpaid administrators use taxpayers money to block not just you but the truth of these proverbial claims.
It amazes me when you say, “…without fear of contradiction,” that the judiciary, parliament and their minions never actually contradict but they brazenly circumvent the real issues with gibberish. As Maestro sang in Mr. Trinidadian, “…is best they bring back….”
