This Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Act is a cornerstone of our independence and mature statehood. Its principles of responsibility ought to be the central components of our judiciary and all other institutions, public and private. The historic and current, convenient manipulations of these principles represent the justification for a Hell on earth and otherwise.
Many laws exist, yet we create other laws to justify invented witticisms of avoidance. Sunlight, the icon of transparency, is paraded publicly and parodied in the oblivion of our shadows, real and imagined. To delay this act is to deny us justice in the manner consistent with colonialism and the demons exposed by Socrates in his several recorded acts. Injustice reigns and this is one major step, if intelligently and consistently enforced at all levels, to advance our freedom.
